September 20th
Despite the wild night, we managed to sleep in a bit before heading off to Boston to visit friends Sue and Max. Sue made us a delicious brunch and showed us around the city,
including the beautiful Boston Central library
Later in the day, we got a tour of Max’s Harvard lab, where he explained some of the incredible research they’re doing,
Like growing heart cells that beat and muscle cells that contract. It was absolutely fascinating!

Their dog, Munchie, seemed to enjoy our company (..and our toes) too.
Thank you Sue and Max for a wonderful visit!
That evening, we drove to New Bedford, which my dad found funny because it shares the name with the town where he went to school in the UK.
