September 21st
We arrived in Madison to stay with Paul, my mom’s old coworker from 2000, and his family.
They live in a beautiful forested area, and we got to meet one of their very friendly cats, who kept us company during our stay.
Wherever we went, he was never far.
September 22nd
On Sunday, we visited a fair in the nearby town of Guildford, where my siblings had a blast exploring all the activities.
Back at the house, Paul showed us his beehives and explained how they work, which was super interesting, and delicious.
September 23rd
On our last full day in Madison, Paul gave us a tour of the firefighter headquarters, which was awesome!
Later, we took a relaxing trip to the beach and enjoyed the lovely view.
