October 17th
Our family friend Alison kindly hosted us for a couple of days. Alison knew us as babies so she was a bit surprised to see us after many years. One of Alison’s lovely friends, Kathy, picked me up from Evija’s in her super cool car, which was such a fun ride.
That evening, we had a BBQ dinner with Alison and Kathy, her daughter and family, and her nephew and family — it was a lively and warm gathering. Even special friend Perry made it to the dinner BBQ.
Earlier in the day, Alison had taken my family around her neighbourhood on a cute little golf cart. My siblings even got to drive it, which they absolutely loved!
October 18th
We had a relaxed day planned. Isa and I spent some time at the pool while the others played paddle.
That evening, we went to a rodeo. What an iconic American experience! It was a lot of fun.
