
January 14th

Our day started at 4 am to catch our flight to Nagpur. It was a short but exhausting journey, made tougher by my brother’s stomach troubles the night before, leaving us all a bit sleep-deprived.
Arriving earlier than expected at the Pench National Park, we had to wait before being able to check in to our bungalows at the Tuli Tiger Corridor, but the resort staff took excellent care of us. We were given a tour of the property and treated to a delicious lunch. The rest of the day was spent relaxing, soaking in the tranquil atmosphere, and marvelling at the abundant wildlife visible even within the resort grounds. This made us even more excited for the upcoming tiger safaris.

January 15th–16th
Unfortunately, Isa, my mum, and I woke up during the night with stomach aches, which meant we missed the morning drive. Isa and I also had to skip the afternoon ride, but thankfully we managed to join the final drive when we got to see a leopard.
Even though I wasn’t able to see any tigers, the family was able to see some incredible sights and captured some nice photos of this elusive cat:
