March 11th

To make our way to Singapore from Kuala Lumpur, my mom thought that taking the bus might be an interesting option, and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We got to admire beautiful views and take the loveliest naps while being very comfy.

After settling into Mugdha and Shankar’s place in Singapore—who had already graciously hosted us back in Goa—we met up with my mom’s former coworkers from when she worked in Singapore back in 2004.

We enjoyed a feast at the Lau Pa Sat Hawker Centre, where we tasted various delicious dishes, and then took a lovely walk along the Marina Bay, getting a glimpse of the beautiful city.

March 12th

This was our only full day in Singapore, so of course, we took full advantage of it by visiting all sorts of wonderful places, such as the Mandai Bird Sanctuary

and the Museum of Asian Civilisations.

To top off an already amazing day, we watched a light show at the Gardens by the Bay – a truly unique experience!

March 13th

Already, it was time to pack up and head to the amazing Singapore airport for the next part of our trip—this time accompanied by Mugdha!
