This is most likely the final blog post on here, so I just want to say thank you—I hope you’ve enjoyed following along on this wild journey over the past year. I really hope I managed to capture our story well enough.

I originally started writing this blog mostly for myself and for my grandparents back home—a kind of memory book where everything would be written down and laid out clearly. And I’m so glad I did. Looking back on everything we saw and experienced, it would’ve been so easy to forget things otherwise!

It’s also brought me so much joy to receive kind messages from people along the way. I’m really touched that so many others ended up reading along too. it definetly helped to keep me motivated. Hopefully it gave you a little glimpse into our adventures, and maybe even inspired you to take off on one of your own someday.

Even though it wasn’t always easy, I’m so grateful we made this trip happen. The experiences we had and the lessons we learned are truly priceless.
