The reason we stopped in Cleveland was to visit my late aunty Livia’s bestie and his partner – Adriano and Mick. Adriano and Livia had talked almost everyday despite the Atlantic and lots of land between them.
Adriano and Mick graciously hosted us in their gorgeous bungalow – these two are true hospitality professionals! Mille merci!

In Cleveland, we visited the Cleveland Museum of Art, which was a beautiful and impressive experience.

The building alone was worth the visit.

And of course, the museum’s art collection was vast and varied. Here are a few of my favorites as a preview of what you can expect to see there.
For lunch, we ate at the yummy and healthy “Liquid Fresh Planet Clifton” owned by Mick

and for dinner we all treated ourselves to a feast at The Cheesecake Factory.

It was delicious, but we ate so much that we didn’t have any room left for dessert!

Anecdote: Xan’s creamy pasta dinner gave her a hard time. Between the cream and the portion size, Xan struggled to digest and fall asleep. Sarah tried essential oils and a foot massage, but it was Kofi’s gulp of vodka that helped Xan finally fall asleep. Simple, tried, and tested solutions are always the best!

Big thanks to Adriano and Mick for hosting us in their beautiful home!
