We set off to explore New Orleans, a city with so much charm! It definitely has a party vibe — people were casually walking around with cocktails in hand, even on a Monday afternoon.

Our first stop was Cafe du Monde for some famous beignets. They were nothing special, honestly, I wasn’t completely sold on the hype.
After that, we wandered over to the French Market for a look around.

The city itself is really cute, with beautiful Halloween decorations everywhere that added to its character.

In the evening, I joined an aerial hoop class, which was such a joy! It felt amazing to get back into it and learn some new tricks — it was like a little taste of home.

Sam joined me for my second aerial hoop class at NOLA Pole & Aerials, making the class even more fun!
My dad came to pick us up a bit early and managed to get some pictures haha

We visited the National WWII Museum, which is considered one of the best in the U.S., and I’d say it definitely lives up to its reputation. It was very well-organised, and the exhibits were fascinating and easy to follow.

We took a break for sushi lunch with my siblings and then returned to the museum for more, while my parents went on a walking tour of the French Quarter followed by cocktails and oysters at Fives on Jackson Square. Let’s just say that they were very happy after their walking tour.
Back at the hotel, my siblings and I had a quick dip in the hotel pool and treated ourselves to Crumbl Cookies as we wanted to try (they were very sweet but pretty good).

To wrap up our time in New Orleans, we had dinner at Cochon, a spot known for its Cajun cuisine. It was the perfect send-off meal!
